Our Story

The evolution of Akyrah Kitchens began in 2004, founded by Gary and Lisa Mieran, and has since grown into a leading name in custom cabinetry. Long-term employees Corey and Tanner are now Directors of this well-established business, backed by a young and enthusiastic team.

Bringing fresh energy and a passion for innovation, we are committed to investing back into the business – continuously improving processes, technology and design – to fuel its ongoing success. We continue to build on our strong foundation, delivering high-quality craftsmanship and forward-thinking designs. From the initial design consultation with Corey – either in our showroom or on-site – we guide you every step of the way to bring your dream vision to life.

Operating across two factories, we utilise state-of-the-art machinery, including CNC flatbed routers and edging machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in every project. However, the backbone of any successful business lies within its workforce.

Our Team & Expertise

With a team of 35 dedicated professionals, we take pride in nurturing talent by regularly enrolling apprentices in our training program, cultivating them into skilled cabinetmakers.

While we specialise in kitchen cabinetry, we also offer tailored solutions for bathroom vanities, laundries, home offices and more. We are committed to delivering stylish and functional designs to suit all budgets, ensuring quality and craftsmanship in every project.
